When you arrive at our Beverly Hills office for your appointment, we will begin by applying a topical numbing agent to your skin. Then, we will place the Sylfirm X wand on the treatment area to pulse gentle RF energy to create microchannels in your skin. Most people tolerate the Sylfirm X treatment well and do not experience much pain. Once the procedure is done, we will apply exosomes to the treated area to promote rapid growth and support your body’s collagen production.
You can expect some mild redness for the first few days after your Sylfirm X treatment, but most patients are ready to return to work and their normal daily routine the next day. There is very little pain associated with this treatment and virtually no downtime.
The main difference between the two approaches is that RF microneedling harnesses the power of radiofrequency technology to amplify its results. For that reason, RF microneedling is more intensive than the traditional version.

RF microneedling is a safe treatment for all skin types and tones. It is not a suitable choice if you are pregnant or nursing, or if you have an active skin infection or a history of abnormal scarring.
We typically recommend three sessions initially, followed by a yearly maintenance visit.
