Juvéderm is a collection of dermal fillers that can be applied throughout the face. The primary ingredient is hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally found in the body. The effects of Juvéderm can last between six and 18 months, depending on the product used.

Restylane also refers to a collection of HA fillers. The original Restylane smooths early wrinkles and lines, Restylane Lyft corrects deeper wrinkles and folds, and Restylane Silk volumizes the lips. Depending on the product Dr. Firouz uses, your results can last between six to 18 months.

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It works by encouraging your body to form new collagen from within, so you will need several sessions for optimal results. With Sculptra, Dr. Firouz can fill in hollow areas on your face and restore lost volume to your cheeks.

Your Dermal Filler Experience

Your experience will begin with a private consultation with Dr. Firouz. During that meeting, he will evaluate your face as a whole and talk to you about your aesthetic vision. From there, he will compose a treatment plan to deliver the outcome you want.

To begin, he may administer a topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort. Some dermal fillers feature an anesthetic already, so this step will depend on your treatment plan. From there, he will inject your face with your chosen filler. He may massage the area afterward to disperse the filler appropriately. Depending on the size of your treatment area, the entire appointment can take a few minutes to a full hour.

After Your Injections

There is no downtime or recovery associated with dermal fillers. As such, you will be free to return to the office and your normal daily activities right away.
