Restylane has a firmer consistency, whereas Juvéderm has a softer consistency. Dr. Firouz will take all these factors into account to select the right dermal filler for your needs.

Juvéderm is a non-surgical filler that can instantly smooth away lines and wrinkles. It is the softest hyaluronic acid filler available, making it a great way to restore fullness to the nose and mid-face region. Additionally, SkinVive by Juvéderm is one of the newest product offerings that can smooth and hydrate cheeks for all skin tones. The result is not a change to your facial structure, but a healthy and lasting glow.

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler that can correct moderate to severe wrinkles, folds, and hollows. Dr. Firouz commonly uses original Restylane to treat hollows under the eyes, Restylane Lyft to address deep wrinkles and folds, and Restylane Silk to plump thinning lips. Depending on the product, your results can last between six and 18 months.

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that Dr. Firouz uses to fill in hollow areas on your face and restore lost volume to your cheeks. It works by triggering your body’s natural production of fresh collagen. As such, you will likely need several sessions to see your desired results.

Your Dermal Filler Experience

When you arrive at our Beverly Hills office for your injections, we will begin by cleansing your face and possibly administering a topical anesthetic. Some dermal fillers are formulated with local anesthesia, so this step will depend on your treatment plan.

From there, Dr. Firouz will inject your face with your chosen filler (or fillers). He may massage the area afterward to help the filler disperse. Depending on the size of your treatment area, the appointment may take a few minutes or a full hour.
